Job Description

 We’re looking for Regional Head of Projects with a strong technical and engineering background. Candidate must be able to coordinate with cross functional teams (Sales, Finance, SCM and Product Management) to drive projects in MEA Region. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, projects planning and risk assessment.

Position: Head of Projects

Reporting Line: Head of Sales

Country of Responsibility: All countries under LME

Location: Dubai, UAE

Major Responsibilities 

  • Drive projects schedules, resources, and projects deliverables developments
  • Create, maintain, and track regional projects pipeline through project management tools
  • KAM for high-value projects
  • Prepare commercial offers, technical submittals, Commercial & Technical Analysis
  • Pursue additional business development opportunities and collaborate with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.
  • Engage with Product Planning to ensure competitiveness of solution offerings
  • Track and analyze competition and market pricing
  • Look after specifying activities with Consultants, Designers & Contractors
  • Reviewing inquiries and developing technical proposals for materials requisition
  • Preparation of technical sales presentations
  • Market analysis, trends in various field, new opportunities, competitor’s assessment, and analysis
  • Prepare detailed energy saving studies and ROI calculations
  • Networking with clients building strong work relationship
  • Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
  • Ensuring permits and legal papers are secured ahead of the project.

 Requirements

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / Electronics
  • Extensive experience managing Electromechanical/Lighting Projects
