Our client a Multinational Brand specialized manufacturers of Electronics and Electrical products is looking for a Accountant
Position is based in Dubai, UAE.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests/ Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.
- Posting of suppliers invoices both manual and automated.
- Track expenses and process expense reports, including employees claims.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Maintain sales- purchase books for VAT return/ Supporting on VAT return declaration.
- Prepare analysis of accounts/ BS and P&L monthly review.
- Monitor product profitability, perform analysis to identify profit improvement and define corrective actions to drive profit.
- Prepare various financial analysis related to inventory as needed for decision making support. Provide critical assessment of the standard cost and the variation for all materials in the portfolio.
- Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products, including critical assessment of the standard cost and the reflection of cost variations in material, in the regularly updated price lists.
- Maintain standard cost of materials in the ERP system. – Support for maintaining selling price as well in ERP system.
- Overall responsibility of data base of product and portfolio analysis/ TP annual preparation and monthly review.
- Support Sales and CS teams in business process improvements, implementing best practices and fully utilizing ERP system capabilities.
- Critical assessment of processes and formats with a continuous improvement eye to enhance current practices, improve efficiency and fully embody the new way.
- Prepare cost projections. Support on BDG preparation and monitoring of FCT.
- Correspond with vendors, customer and respond to inquiries.
- Initiatives to educate staff on best practices.
- Prepare and assist with month end closing.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Preparation of monthly presentations requested by CFO & CEO.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance.
- Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accounting & Cost Accounting Standards.
- Knowledge of ERP & BI tools and techniques mandatory.
- Microsoft office especially Advance Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multi-department team.
